Prepare your resolutions and keep them

The January 1st approaching, why not quit smoking in 2020? This is what the founder of Kwit did: Set quitting smoking as an objective for the New Year, an extra motivation to make sure you stay smoke-free.πŸ˜‰

It is a good initiative to make resolutions for the New Year, yet many people have difficulty keeping them. Don't worry, we'll give you some advice πŸ’ͺ So how can you keep your good resolutions?

Your resolutions must be smart

Simple: Β« I quit smoking on January 1st Β»

Mesurable: Β« Look at Kwit to measure the number of days without smoking, the money saved, the cigarettes smoked… Β»

Achievable: Β« Quitting smoking leads to many other things, since by stopping you find your breath, your energy, your motivation. But be careful not to plan to become a great sportsman at the same time as quitting smoking. Starting a life without tobacco is already a big step. Β»

On paper it is important, you have to post them at home, to think about them every day and read them again to get motivated!

Write well, big and in color! 🎨

If your good resolution for the New Year is to quit smoking, you should also make a list of all the things that motivate you to quit. To read it again if you have a craving!

Don't aim for the moon - it's the best way to lose motivation - it's better to have 1 good resolution than 10 that you won't keep! So quitting smoking is a great resolution!

Set yourself goals every week so you don't lose your motivation!

For example:

  • First week: I avoid risky situations: do not drink coffee or alcohol. Do not pass in front of tobacco shops etc…

  • Second week: your breath will come back quickly by stopping this smoking, so as the objective of your week nΒ°2 do a little sport to clean your body from cigarettes or clean your lungs with a few tips ( Article: Cleaning your lungs after quitting smoking).

  • Third week: I testify about my smoking cessation experience and help others get through it!

Thanks to the Kwit application you can track your results to be proud of yourself every day. πŸ˜‰

At each successful step you must be congratulated. For example, give yourself gifts with the money you save! πŸ’΅

Cracking is not the end of the world, you can always continue your withdrawal. Write down your desires and smoked cigarettes in the application to understand your addiction and better fight it!

Quit smoking and the best decision you've ever made! You are doing good for your body, your morale, your surroundings and the planetπŸ‘πŸŽ‰

And don't forget, the most important factor is to be motivated to improve your daily life. And to stay motivated, shake when you feel like smoking, a nice Kwit message will appear πŸ’ͺ
