World No Tobacco Day will take place on 31 May and this year it will be a day dedicated to young people and their protection. We wanted to give you our advices, for the occasion, to protect the young people close to you.
Younger people can be influenced and may be more sensitive to the tobacco industry's communications. But don't panic, it is possible to help them get out of their addiction through various means, we enlighten you!
According to WHO figures, more than 10% of 13-15 year olds have already used tobacco.
As a result of ongoing efforts over the years, the number of young smokers has decreased. However it is a public at risk: fashionable effect for cigarettes, trendy objects such as the electronic cigarette, etc, we must continue our efforts to raise awareness among this population. It is with this in objective that World No Tobacco Day 2020 will be a day dedicated to young people!
This is why we want to help you if you are one of the young smokers or if you are close to one of them. To do so, we will present you ways of quitting that may be more adapted to this new generation.
